Congratulations to OESH Shoes for winning a Phase II SBIR grant from the National Science Foundation to finalize the development of a pellet-based 3D printing process that is poised to revolutionize footwear manufacturing. Advantages of additive manufacturing to produce shoes include the ability to offer mass customization tailored not just to fit, style, and colors, but to individual biomechanical gait characteristics.
